Designing the logo for Focal Field Productions was an exciting challenge, balancing a friendly yet corporate aesthetic. From the outset, I envisioned playing with the two 'F's in the name, arranging them to create a sense of depth and distance.
After several iterations, I finalized a design that perfectly captured the desired effect. The red 'F' in the foreground draws immediate attention, while the outlined 'F' in the background subtly suggests distance. This arrangement cleverly mirrors the concept of focal length in photography, aligning with the brand’s name and industry.
The decision to use a grey tone for the background 'F' instead of blurring it was deliberate. This choice provides a sense of separation without losing clarity, maintaining a professional and polished look. The contrasting colors and clear lines ensure the logo is both eye-catching and sophisticated.
